Our story and philosophy

Welcome to my world of natural cosmetic and fragrances from Slovakia

My name is Iveta Burešová Mikletičová and I bring you my own perspective on fragrances and the effects of plants and herbs. My journey started in 2012 with the creation of my own natural cosmetics SAVON, where we use our own herbal extracts to help people rediscover the power of nature and herbs.

The people behind SAVON are ordinary people who hold a special place in my heart. We are a small family business and our origins date back to 2012, when our second son Matias was born. He was tiny, wrinkly, suffering from atopic eczema, but he was our little strong lion. As a mom, it was tearing my heart out to see his small body covered in spots. I was feeling helpless, the same way I did when my husband developed psoriasis. However, the opposite was true. It was the beginning of what continues to fulfill me to this day. I embarked on a journey of not only creating but also becoming aware of the different energies that affect us. My ambition was to offer people products and perfumes that were transparent, ethical and sustainable.

I began to feel empowered knowing that my products were bringing people relief, beauty and joy. This is also because our SAVON natural cosmetics are created with love and respect for nature, which is why, for example, you won't find any palm oil in our products. We use high-quality ingredients and herbs from our own gardens, out of which we create our own extracts. We feel that such raw ingredients do not put a strain on our bodies and we reconnect with Mother Nature.

Another magical moment was the discovery of perfume creation. I was eager to bring something new, to offer people perfumes that were transparent, ethical and sustainable.  It was a moment full of fragrant passion. Discovering fragrances, combining them and creating them fills me with such a great feeling, as when a composer writes his music. Every single note of his song falls into place and completes the overall sound of each piece. This is how I perceive my fragrant notes - botanical perfumes, which I bring to you so that you too can immerse yourself and "listen" to the fragrance and connect it with your emotions.

In this way, I would like to thank all my family for their help and support. Special thanks belong to my husband, who is my biggest inspiration, he has been by my side since the beginning of my work. Thank you for seeing me truthfully.

We are also improving our packaging - we use eco-friendly plastic packaging that is compostable as well as paper and glass packaging that is also fully recyclable. You can also find "naked" products in our e-shop, which can be purchased without packaging.
