PINE Natural Essential Oil

Pine essential oil has a captivating scent. It is extracted from the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). This evergreen is the most widespread and humble conifer, growing from wetlands to sandy soils, tolerating drought, high temperatures, and frost, though it does need sunlight. Its strength symbolizes an inexhaustible life force, which is why it is known as the tree of life, and this is exactly what our pine essential oil represents. It can be used for bronchitis and asthma, purifying the air and disinfecting. It is excellent for inhalation when you have a cold, as well as for rheumatism and muscle tension.

When using essential oils and blends, it is important that the oil and blend smell pleasant to you. If the blend is pleasant, you feel good, and your thoughts and body will accept the therapeutic blend much more intensively. Effects:

  • Antimicrobial effects: Pine oil has antibacterial and antiviral properties that can help combat various infections and support the immune system.
  • Analgesic effects: Pine oil is often used to alleviate pain, especially in muscles and joints, as well as pain caused by inflammation or tension.
  • Refreshing and energizing effect: In aromatherapy, pine oil is used to improve concentration, refresh the mind, and boost energy. It can help with exhaustion, stressful situations, or periods of fatigue.
  • Improvement of circulation: This oil can support blood circulation and help improve microcirculation in the skin, contributing to overall skin health.
  • Immune support: Pine is known for its strengthening effects on the immune system.
  • Relief from stress and anxiety: While pine oil has energizing effects, it can also help alleviate stress and tension, creating a sense of freshness and balance in the mind.

 

Usage:

Add 5 drops to a bath with a temperature up to 37°C. For better solubility, you can mix with salt or a carrier plant oil.

  • Direct inhalation: Drop 1-2 drops on a cotton handkerchief or cotton pad and inhale.
  • Aromatherapy jewelry: Add a few drops (1-5 drops depending on the size of the jewelry).
  • Aromatherapy lamp or diffuser: Add 2-3 drops to an aroma lamp and let it diffuse in your home, apartment, office, or even in the car.

At first, use fewer drops to avoid the blend being too strong. The effect of essential oils is most effective in the first 30-60 minutes, depending on how quickly the oils evaporate. After this time, the effect of the oils decreases.

 

Contraindications:

Never apply directly to the skin in its pure form; always dilute it in a carrier oil. Non-toxic, non-irritating, but occasionally sensitizing. Always test a small amount first for sensitivity or allergic reaction. Direct and indirect contact with the eyes may cause irritation. If you are pregnant, consult with a doctor before use.
