Product detailed description
EFFECTS
- Antibacterial effects: Oregano essential oil is known for its strong antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.
- Support for the immune system: This oil can help strengthen the immune system and improve the body’s defenses. It is useful in the prevention of colds, flu, and other infectious diseases.
- Relief for respiratory problems: It is also used for respiratory illnesses. It helps loosen mucus and improve breathing in cases of coughs, colds, or upper respiratory infections. Inhaling oregano oil or using it in a diffuser can help ease breathing.
- Pain relief: The essential oil has analgesic effects, which may help reduce muscle and joint pain, especially in cases of inflammation and arthritis. It can also be effective for headaches.
Possible side effects:
- Skin irritation: Oregano oil is very strong and may cause skin irritation if applied undiluted. It is important to dilute it with a carrier oil (such as coconut or almond oil) before use.
- Toxic effects from excessive use: When used in large quantities, it can be toxic, especially if taken internally. It should never be used in large doses without consulting a professional.
- Not for use during pregnancy: This oil should be avoided by pregnant women, as it may have a stimulating effect on the uterus.
Usage:
- Add 5 drops to a bath at a temperature of up to 37°C. For better solubility, you can mix it with salt or a carrier plant oil.
- Direct inhalation: Drop 1-2 drops onto a cotton handkerchief or cotton pad and inhale.
- Aroma jewelry: Add a few drops (1-5 drops depending on the size of the jewelry).
- Aroma lamp or diffuser: Drop 2-3 drops into the aroma lamp and let it disperse in your home, apartment, office, or even car.
- Start by using fewer drops so the mixture isn’t too strong. The effects of essential oils are most effective during the first 30-60 minutes, depending on how quickly the oils evaporate. After this time, their effects begin to diminish.
Contraindications
Never apply directly to the skin in its pure form; always dilute it with a carrier oil. Non-toxic, non-irritating, but occasionally sensitizing. Always test a small amount first for sensitivity or allergic reactions. Direct and indirect contact with the eyes may cause irritation. If you are pregnant, consult a doctor before use.
